Corporate Compliance Director manages the compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices for an organization or business. Ensures that all activities follow regulatory requirements related to the governance of the organization as well as any industry-specific or location-specific laws. Being a Corporate Compliance Director oversees internal controls and auditing systems that monitor and report on regulated activities and processes. Implements risk-based compliance testing of existing procedures and controls to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance. Additionally, Corporate Compliance Director evaluates and implements changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations. Delivers communication and training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Compliance Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Corporate Compliance Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Role Overview

    The RTX Cyber Crisis Leader will be responsible for building, running, and maintaining a comprehensive approach to building a mature program, engaging with teams and stakeholders and regular testing of capability effectiveness. The Cyber Crisis lead is expected to be the incident management champion across the company. The role must communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, succeed as a change leader, and build effective coalitions across diverse stakeholder groups.     Responsibilities:

    • Drives implementation of our Cyber Crisis program by developing and leading execution of cybersecurity and risk management strategy
    • Aligns global organizations across RTX to achieve a common approach and implement a highly mature cyber crisis management framework.
    • Partner with key stakeholders across business units and functions ensuring consistent and well managed outcomes before during and after cyber security related incidents
    • Lead the development and implementation of Cyber Crisis Incident policies, procedures, and standards
    • Lead and partner with multiple organizations to develop, communicate, and execute cyber crisis management plans and playbooks.
    • Coordinate and lead cyber crisis management tabletops, wargames, process and procedure testing and corrective actions.
    • Lead cross-functional crisis and incident management teams during an enterprise-wide cyber crisis.
    • Conduct incident after action reviews to identify strengths, improvement opportunities and track corrective actions.
    • Develop sophisticated metrics program to track status, trends and effectiveness of program

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 12 years operational experience across multiple Cybersecurity disciplines.
    • Prior experience in developing and leading as a people manager
    • Prior experience as an incident handler / coordinator / responder / commander
    • Expert organizational, interpersonal, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
    • Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge.
    • Experience conducting risk assessments, business process or DT control auditing.
    • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships; strong team player, able to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
    • Demonstrated focus on process development and implementation that spans organizational boundaries.
    • Strong understanding of technical/security concepts such as network architecture design, logical access controls, vulnerability management, encryption, and cloud computing.
    • Self-starter with ability to work independently and to manage multiple tasks/projects in a disciplined and organized fashion while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, some of which may be geographically distributed.
    • Experienced in organizational and business change management.

    Education:

    • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience

    The salary range for this role is 171,000 USD - 343,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
