As a member of the Compliance Team, you will have the ability to contribute to Athletics success through personal relationships with coaches, staff and student-athletes while preserving the University's integrity as members of the NCAA and Conference Affiliations. The Compliance Assistant Director will lead all Rules Education and Technology efforts for the Compliance Office, interacting frequently with student-athletes, coaches, staff, and campus partners. Further, the position will support several teams and bylaws in compliance matters, interpreting NCAA rules, educating coaches and staff, reporting violations, and monitoring adherence to rules and policy.
Create a Culture of Excellence with Us! This position will:
- Oversee and lead all efforts related to scheduling, creating, and assigning responsibility for disseminating rules education materials intended for internal and external constituents within the compliance office, including social media.
- Maintain the rules education process that specifically replaced the NCAA Coaches Exam; facilitate ongoing recruiting education efforts for sports-specific coaches/staff.
- Serve as a unit liaison for technology support including compliance software.
- Oversee most aspects of Bylaw 11 Personnel, including coaching designations.
- Create and maintain an annual calendar of education for the Compliance Office.
- Serve as a compliance resource for conference and NCAA interpretations for a number of Olympic sports. Assist with filing of level III violations related to assigned sports.
- Assist the Senior Associate AD Compliance with special projects including representing compliance on various campus committees.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (4 years)
- 1-2 years experience in NCAA Division I Compliance
- Must possess strong written, presentation, and technology skills with an emphasis on rules education methods, including embracing social media
- Experience with common Athletics Compliance software (e.g., ARMS, CA, LSDBi)
- Must thrive working independently and proactively
- Adept in reporting, highly organized, and detail-oriented
