Corporate Construction Manager oversees construction projects and operations to meet the organization's financial and growth objectives and fulfill client contractual requirements. Follows established quality, performance, and safety standards and procedures for operations. Being a Corporate Construction Manager reviews and approves procurement of required material, equipment, subcontractors, and worker resources. Provides project updates and communicates with clients, contractors, governmental or regulatory officials, and other stakeholders. Additionally, Corporate Construction Manager builds effective team capacity to plan and implement construction projects. Ensures all permits, licenses, or certifications required by regulatory authorities are obtained. Establishes and enforces safety protocols and procedures to provide safe job sites and minimize risk. Monitors costs and timelines and submits required progress reports to deliver projects on time and within budget. Implements best practice construction methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes. Requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. Typically reports to senior management. The Corporate Construction Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Construction Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions, and campaigns 
    • Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally, regionally, and nationally 
    • Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures 
    • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics. 
    • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding services. 
    • Working with Director of Sales to set discount rates and determining price schedules. 
    • Advising wholesalers and travel agents on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 
    • Creation, maintenance, and submission of periodic reporting related to sales and revenue analysis of sales segments. 
    • Developing SOPs for their aspect(s) of sales within the department 
    • Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external clients 
    • Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation. 
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients 
    • Setting sales quotas and goals with guidance from Director of Sales 
    • Ability to travel to various industry and travel shows along with client’s site visits. 
    • Overseeing and directing performance of the sales segment(s) (Group, Business and Corporate) 
    • Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities. 
    • Defining and executing territory sales plans 
    • Creating and curating outbound sales efforts to generate awareness and drive leads. 
    • Handling all inbound sales leads and ensuring prompt responses to prospective clients 
    • Facilitate clients through the sales funnel ultimately leading to bookings and secured business. 
    • Assist all resort teams in the execution of booked events and groups. 
    • Learning and Comprehension of various support tools/ software

    • Siriusware (Lift Ticket, Lesson and Rental Software) 
    • SMS (Internal Lodging Software) 
    • Inntopia (External Lodging Software)

    Work Environment:  

    Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holidays and Peak days. TSVI is in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff. Travel will be required during trade shows, industry events and client visits. 

     

    Physical Demands of Position Include:  

    20% of time spent standing/walking. 60% of time at a computer. 20% of time spent moving objects - potential lifting 10-25lbs, rarely up to 50lbs, and using a dolly and/or equipment.
