Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager oversees and promotes the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Implements programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager communicates the organization's ethical standards, policies, and regulations. Delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager conducts compliance monitoring, investigations, and remediations of any non-compliant actions. Manages the administration of confidential reporting systems or helplines for employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Tetra Tech has immediate full-time openings in southern Michigan with primary location in Ann Arbor, MI. We seek motivated entry to mid-level Environment Scientists/Engineers. The selected individuals are expected to define and perform project tasks in a cost-effective and time efficient manner in a collaborative team environment. 

    Your Contributions will Include:

    • Interact with commercial/industrial clients to identify needs, collect data, develop and process solutions for task completion.
    • Perform data analysis utilizing software, spreadsheets, databases, or other novel solutions to assist with resolving client problems.
    • Engage in diverse client projects that may involve multi-media knowledge including Air, Water, Waste, Hazardous Material Management, or Emergency Response/Prevention
    • Develop and deliver proficient technical documents, presentations, and/or training sessions on regulatory compliance concepts, industry trends, and emerging issues.
    • Review and monitor changes in environmental regulations working with Sr. staff to develop client solutions.
    • Support client project teams and internal business development initiatives
    • Apply knowledge gained in previous assignments.

As we evaluate candidates, we will be looking for excellent written and verbal communication skills; a high degree of self-confidence and self-motivation; and evidence of strong logic and analytical skills; and emphasis of delivering quality work products. 

    Required Qualifications

    • At least 2 years' experience within the environmental science/engineering field; preference of direct experience within Commercial/Industrial or Consulting/Engineering sectors.
    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Environmental Sciences or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental/Civil) from a four-year College or university.
    • Computer skills to include the creation and use of Pivot Tables, Macros and Excel proficient.
    • Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated professional and team-oriented approach to work.
    • Position open to U.S. Citizens. 
    • The ability to travel 10% to customer site and field visits.
