    Point32Health is looking for a Director of Employee Relations with deep experience in managing change, creating process, influencing and impacting dynamic businesses through effective management (both proactive and reactive) of a wide range of employee relations and issues. This person will be accountable for partnering with the HR Business Partner team, working with colleagues across organizations, building trusted relationships quickly, and leading with warmth, empathy, compassion, and creativity to think inside of and outside of the box to drive the right solutions. This position reports to the Vice President, Human Resources and sits on the HR Business Partner and Employee Relations team.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to develop a strategic and proactive approach to Employee Relations, which includes identifying trends, developing frameworks, leading training and coaching HR & people leaders.
    • Acts as a credible, trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders by leveraging experience, expertise, organizational awareness, business acumen, a pragmatic mindset, and the ability to effectively partner with and influence others
    • Oversees complex and sensitive workplace investigations in collaboration with HRBPs, Legal, and Compliance functions. Determines findings and recommendations for resolution.
    • Provides consultation and guidance to HRBPs on addressing employee behavior and performance concerns; assists with the development of feedback or corrective / disciplinary actions.
    • Develop processes that allow the operation to improve productivity and scale according to future business needs; champion continuous improvement and quality control efforts and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization
    • Leverage analytics to provide insights to HR and business leadership on employee relations trends and engagement opportunities
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with Legal, IT Security, Privacy, Compliance and other centralized support functions to ensure operating procedures are compliant with local, state and federal laws
    • Collaborate with HR leaders and centralized support functions to assess, support and communicate the change management impacts associated with process improvements.
    • Develops and maintains positive professional relationships with stakeholders by ensuring employee relations matters are addressed in a comprehensive and collaborative manner.
    • Other projects and duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Juris Doctor degree preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:

    10 years’ experience in employee relations and human Resources.

    SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Deep experience in employee relations and employment law.
    • Subject matter expert in regulatory areas (i.e., ADA, FMLA) and compliance.
    • Strong capabilities in investigating and preparing strategy and responses to third-party EEOC, OFCCP and other governmental changes and requests as well as threatened litigation.
    • Demonstrated track record of partnering with HR and people leaders to manage complex employment matters to mitigate risk and drive business results.
    • Prior experience building and implementing employee relations foundational processes in a highly sophisticated and matrixed organization.
    • Strong diversity and inclusion competence and passion for the integration of DEI practices in ER.
    • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trust, credibility and rapport at all levels of the organization.
    • Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Point32Health’s values and principles.


    WORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel):

    • Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
    • Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.
    • May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
