Position Summary:
Coperion is looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team remotely. As a Corporate Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the corporate accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the Coperion Group companies in the United States and Canada.
Work You'll Do:
Participate in the consolidation and preparation of the monthly subgroup financial statements as well as the reporting for the entire Coperion Group
Lead intercompany reconciliation
Review and analyze reporting packages according to US GAAP ensuring reporting quality of group reporting
Contact person for the entities for all accounting and reporting matters
Develop and drive process improvement in closing and consolidation processes by standardizing and/or automating reporting processes
Partner with team in the creation of presentations, technical training & corporate guidelines, and policies
Participate in the preparation of statutory financial statements where applicable.
Manage global accounting projects
Team:
The position will be an integral part of the Coperion Corporate Accounting team (Coracc), which consists of a Team Lead Corporate Accounting and two Corporate Accounting Specialists. The team is based in Weingarten, Germany, but due to recent acquisitions, the team needs to be extended to improve the coverage of the entities located in the North American time zones.
Basic Qualifications:
MBA required
10 years of experience within corporate accounting, multinational group (US-GAAP/IFRS), or an international auditing/accounting firm
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience working in a multiple-ERP environment
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA with controllership experience
Experience in end to closing and reporting
OneStream and/or HFM experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and VBA
