Description:
This position is responsible for providing clerical support to the Assistant Director and the professional development team of Educational Technology Services in implementing and continuing support of LIU 12 services and needs. This support includes secretarial tasks, organizing meetings, coordinating service deliveries, fiscal support tasks, coordinating procurement and distribution, information processing, customer service, team activities, hospitality, and other problem-solving and public relations tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Business, Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of secretarial experience
- Must be able to work independently and as a supportive team member
- Must be organized and able to prioritize workload
- Must be professional and responsive to any requests, questions, or assistance needed by all stakeholder groups
- Must be detail-oriented and adaptable, with flexibility to manage multiple tasks while staying up-to-date on relevant technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, and comfortable learning new software.
Terms: Full-time, 260 days, 8 hrs/day
Salary: Secretary D pay scale - Minimum $16.22/hr, plus excellent benefits.
