Stewart Shop's is a stable and growing company in the convenience store business located in New York and southern Vermont with over 350 locations. Our “Food To Go” program is fast growing as we provide food options both prepared fresh in our shops and produced in our plant central kitchen. We are hiring Regional Food Safety Partners to support this growth. Food service experience is preferred but not required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Train and mentor district food safety staff.
- Perform and follow up on food safety inspections at shop level.
- Train and support shop partners on best food safety practices.
- Schedule and train new product and equipment installations.
- Support remodel, rebuild and new shop set up.
- Follow up with NYS Ag & Mkt inspections.
- Teach various seminars and required NYS food safety classes.
- Some travel required.
