Corporate Trainer for Security Integrations Solutions

  • Summary
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to take on the role of Security Integrations Solutions Trainer. This position will play a pivotal role in equipping our team with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in delivering advanced security and access control solutions to our customers, while also coordinating certifications needed among roles within the SIS Division.

    Essential Functions
    • Conduct training for employees on Security Integration Solutions (SIS) Division ERP solutions for managing the business.
    • Coordinate and track certification requirements for roles within the SIS Division, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Facilitate access to certification programs, courses, and materials for employees.
    • Maintain records of certifications and training completion, ensuring timely renewals as needed.
    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for the SIS Division.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts and department heads to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
    • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are well-versed in our security solutions and industry standards.
    • Create training materials, manuals, and resources to facilitate effective learning.
    • Stay up to date with the latest security technologies and industry trends to ensure training content remains current.
    • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and make improvements as necessary.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
    • Current and valid US driver’s license preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years in security and access control solutions
    • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test

    Knowledge,
    Skills and Abilities
    • Strong knowledge of low voltage technologies including but not limited to Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Data Cabling
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft platforms required (with ability to train confidently on the software). Security industry software knowledge such as Connect Wise or Sedona, a plus
    • Knowledge of security technologies as they relate to UL fire codes, building codes, ADA, life safety and other restrictions that relate to the general commercial construction industry.
    • Knowledge of electronic hardware
    • Must have excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills
    • Must detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills
    • Effective time management skills
