Corporate Treasurer jobs in Delaware City, DE

We are seeking an individual to handle the daily needs of a small municipality. Must be proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online versions)

Experience with working with a municipality is preferred

Job duties include

Processing payroll, including new hire paperwork and entry into system

General bookkeeping

- A/P, A/R, account reconciliation, financial statements, journal entries

Customer invoicing

Bill payments

Working with 3rd party accountant for monthly updates , yearly audits

Budget writing

Detail oriented

Ability to work independently and with little guidance and meet deadlines

This is a PART TIME position. On average 5-10 hours a week, except during Audits and Yearly Budget planning. Hours are very flexible.

Attendance at finance meetings and at council meeting will be required

Must pass background checks, be bondable
