Corporate Treasurer jobs in Fairfield, CT

We are seeking a talented individual for the position of Corporate Paralegal. The successful candidate will report to and support Budderfly's General Counsel related to all corporate legal matters, as well as customer-related real estate matters.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide paralegal and administrative assistance to the Legal Department; schedule coordination, data entry, record keeping, etc.
• UCC searches and filings
• Assist in customer contracting activity
• Review customer's leases and assist in obtaining landlord, lender and other consents and waivers, as well as preparing and making UCC and fixture filings
• Oversee corporate governance and maintenance of entities and corporate records, including annual reports, foreign qualifications, and other compliance filings necessary to comply with federal, state, and local regulations in the conduct of business activities
• Provide paralegal assistance on various corporate and transactional matters, including assisting with due diligence in connection with commercial transactions and legal research
• As needed, provide general Human Resource administrative support; on-boarding, updating employee records, etc.
• Participate in, and collaborate on, legal department projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three to five years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal or similar role
• Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be detail-oriented, accurate and thorough; adept at working in a fast-paced environment and under deadlines
• Able to follow detailed instructions and take on multiple tasks, while effectively prioritizing various projects
• Commitment to quality
• Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work-think independently and as a collaborative team player; and have a strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Must also have ability to work effectively and comfortably with the Board of Directors, executives, senior management, in-house attorneys, and various corporate client groups
• Excellent legal research skills and proficiency with full MS Office suite (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required
• Demonstrated experience in secured financing transactions and UCC filings
• Demonstrated experience in corporate governance
