The Village of McFarland has an immediate opening for the Finance Manager/Treasurer position within the Administration Department.
The Finance Manager/Treasurer plays a crucial role in the financial management of the Village and will work closely with the Administrator and Deputy Administrator to develop and implement financial strategies and assist in oversight of financial operations.
The position also collaborates with other departments to provide guidance in monitoring budgets and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. Major responsibilities include:
This is an exempt position with a starting annual pay range of $74,194 to $100,161 (depending on qualifications) with an excellent benefit package, including health insurance, participation in Wisconsin Retirement System, ample paid time off and much more.
The hours for the position are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the ability to attend meetings or events in the evening or on weekends as needed. Successful completion of a background check is required for this position.
