Rapidly growing digital printing and direct mail company located in Ewing, NJ is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller. The Company is looking for a strong hands-on Controller to take ownership of the general ledger and who will be responsible for directing all accountings operations as well as overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables and financial reporting. Candidate will oversee a staff of three direct reports.

The Controller is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the Accounting/Finance and HR Departments. The Controller is responsible for ensuring the integrity in and timely completion of all financial activities across all business functions. Additionally, the Controller is actively engaged with all functional areas, supporting operational needs and driving productivity with advice, analysis, and financial direction.

Responsibilities

-Manage month-end closing process across all functions of the Company, including:

-Timely generation of financial statements

-Completion and review of account reconciliations

-Timely and relevant analysis of financial results

-Oversee job cost analysis activities

-Work with management team to ensure accurate forecasts and budgets

-Ensure accuracy and integrity in company processes and results

-Supervise accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable

-Review of general ledger including balance sheet analysis and review of P&L

-Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company initiatives or special projects

Qualifications Required:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

- Previously owned the period end close process and financial reporting

- Experience in a high-volume transactional fast paced environment

- Advanced MS Office, Word, Excel skills necessary

- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience

Qualifications Preferred (not required):

- Direct mail, printing, personalization, packaging industry experience

- knowledge of Quickbooks accounting system

- CPA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
