Summary
This is a full-time position that is responsible for analyzing, documenting, corrosion testing including but not limited to, station surveys, bond surveys and inspections by performing the following duties. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Current requirement testing.
- Install and maintain test station.
- Install and maintain ground beds.
- Ability to perform, analyze, document, corrosion tests, including but not limited to test station surveys, bond surveys, interference tests, and atmospheric inspections.
- Maintain records in compliance with guidelines set forth by regulatory agencies.
- Install and repair/maintain rectifiers.
- Maintain good relation with landowners.
- Ability to ride off road vehicles (4-wheelers).
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent education with experience and knowledge of different pipeline coatings, close-interval surveys, soil resistively measurements, current requirement testing, ground bed design and A/C mitigation; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Prefer NACE Cathodic Protection Level 2 but will consider NACE Cathodic Protection Level 1.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
