    POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The Corrosion Specialist assists with the implementation of the various components of DGOC’s Corrosion Control programs.
    Special focus to be placed on:
    • Responsible for all field activities related to corrosion control and pipeline integrity.
    • Performs remedial actions when operational deficiencies are noted.
    • Conduct various tests, measurements, and surveys to ensure efficient operation of pipeline and cathodic protection facilities.
    • Collecting rectifier readings.
    • Monitor the condition of the pipeline through pipe-to-soil potentials, visual inspection, examination of pipe coupons, field data, etc.
    • Coordinate and schedule onsite excavation oversight / inspection for third party (line crossings).
    • Manage inquiring phone calls related to excavation and construction and coordinate corrective actions.
    • Completes special projects, other duties, and annual goals as assigned.
    • The position is in DGOC’s Southern Midstream Division, Wayne District, located in the Southern West Virginia operations footprint.
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors in a technical/ industry-related field preferred.
    • NACE CP 1 or NACE recognized equivalent.
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry supporting field operations.
    • Experience with Corrosion Control process and procedures.
    • Experience with asset data management/ work order management systems- EAM/ MAXIMO preferred.
    • Knowledge of applicable State and Federal Regulations pertaining to the Transportation of Natural Gas by Pipeline.
    • Proficiency in the collection and interpretation of CP data.
    • Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and interpret data, and to problem solve.
