Corrosion Technician:

• Responsibilities:

  • Gather annual pipe-to-soil and rectifier data

  • Troubleshoot and repair rectifier units

  • Perform interference testing

  • Design, install, and document cathodic protection facilities

  • Monitor and maintain pipeline corrosion control and integrity

  • Inspect, test, and evaluate pipeline systems and coatings

  • Prepare and oversee corrosion control projects and plans

  • Participate and inspect regulatory and 3rd party activities

  • Mentor other employees

  • Comply with safety and environmental regulations

  • Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot problems

  • Execute maintenance activities related to pipelines

  • Operate heavy equipment

• Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of related work experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record

  • Communication and computer skills

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimum supervision
