Corrosion Technician:
Responsibilities:
Gather annual pipe-to-soil and rectifier data
Troubleshoot and repair rectifier units
Perform interference testing
Design, install, and document cathodic protection facilities
Monitor and maintain pipeline corrosion control and integrity
Inspect, test, and evaluate pipeline systems and coatings
Prepare and oversee corrosion control projects and plans
Participate and inspect regulatory and 3rd party activities
Mentor other employees
Comply with safety and environmental regulations
Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot problems
Execute maintenance activities related to pipelines
Operate heavy equipment
Qualifications:
1-5 years of related work experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
Communication and computer skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimum supervision
