As part of our expansion, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team.

**Position Overview:**

As an Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions of our company. You will be responsible for accurately recording and processing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely payments and collections. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As well as a desire to learn and grow.

**Responsibilities:**

- Process accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

- Prepare and issue payments to vendors while adhering to payment terms

- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue invoices

- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and discrepancies

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting as needed

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

- Proven experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable role

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and accounting software

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
