Cost Analyst IPosition purpose:Cost Analyst I will assist the Cost Analyst II in preparing, maintaining and analyzing all components of Refining Operating Budgets and Operating Expenses, along with improving all aspects of our fire-retardant garment program between Cintas and United Refining Company.Position Description – Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Verifying costs, reconciling invoices, and correcting any billing errors with Cintas
- Weekly visits to Cintas locations throughout the Refinery
- Work together professionally with Union personnel and Supervisors regarding Cintas issues and how to improve the program
- Organizing Cintas garments changes as it relates to personnel
- Assist with preparing distributing monthly Operating Expense budget Variance Reports for twenty-six Refining Departments
- Assist with preparing and distributing monthly cost worksheets for numerous expense accounts, to include chemicals, catalyst, additives, process waste, water, fuel & electric.
- Assist with preparing all weekly/monthly/annual payroll/overtime reports
- Assist with updating Cashflow and Capital Budget reports monthly
- Assist with all URC, UPA, KPC, VULCAN, and WEX “AFE” tracking, processing, and scanning to ProComm and reports
- Assists with other Refinery expense tracking and analysis as assigned
- Special projects as assigned by Supervisor
