Job Summary

The Cost Accounting Manager will be a key member of the Accounting organization, managing accounting and finance processes and serving as a business partner to the Supply Chain and Operations groups of the company.

Position Responsibilities

• Support with costing setup/updates/reporting.
• Inventory reconciliations, verifications, physical inventory, and inventory reserves
• Period End close activities (JE’s, variance analysis, account recs, reporting, & Inventory/COGS explanations)
• Assist with EPR (Equipment Purchase Request) process/review/tracking.
• Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Budget/Forecasting responsibilities.
• Analyze/review destruction requests.
• Provide audit/SOX support.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years relevant experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to work within short deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows Environment.  Must include Excel with demonstrated aptitude for Access and/or database management.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, strong work ethic, and emphasis on attention to details.
• Work independently while effectively communicating and coordinating work efforts with others.

Travel

• Less than 10%
• Hybrid office environment
