Cost Analyst jobs in Erie, PA

Snap-Tite Hose, a leading manufacturer of high-quality fire, agricultural, and industrial hoses, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join our team. This is a rapidly growing company, and this will be a key role in supporting that growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and administer a plan for tracking actual costs to budget or plan and prior year(s).
• Support Business Decisions: integrate cost analysis and other information to provide crucial data on inventory control, activity-based costing, and operational performance.
• Oversee inventory control function and assist with physical inventory audit.
• Manage supplier relationships for the execution of purchase orders.
• Manage invoice approval process, AP escalation process, and problem resolution.
• Prepare monthly journal vouchers, month-end analysis and account reconciliations.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounting or Analyst role role, preferably in a large manufacturing environment

Competency Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate well in English.
• Proven experience of accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with SAP or GP preferable, other ERP experience can be substituted.
• Excellent skills are required in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated proficiency and experience in handling large volume of data.
