Responsibilities:

• Ensure inventories are valued at the Lower of Cost or Market.
• Conduct inventory absorption tests and update standard labor and overhead rates as needed.
• Calculate inventory reserves for obsolescence and intracompany profit in inventory.
• Maintain Oracle costing including updating material standards as needed.
• Oversee the annual BOM and routing review process.
• Manage cycle count processes and annual physical inventories.
• Assist with month-end closing and reconciliation of inventories.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audits.
• Support Plant Management with ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting
• General knowledge of ERP systems
• Excellent computer skills (including MS Excel)
• Oracle experience would be a plus but is not required
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

Education and Degree Type

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required

Required Certifications & Licenses

• CPA – Would be a plus but is not required
