Genesis Counseling is a group private practice with locations in Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Delray Beach and virtually throughout Florida. We are a collective group of therapists with over 50 years of experience. Genesis is looking for a Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to join our thriving group practice. Specifically, we are looking for a Psychologist who can complete Psychological Testing, to include; Developmental Assessments, Psychoeduational Assessments, Emotional/Personality Assessments and IQ/Gifted Assessments.

Our offices are centrally located in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Requirements include holding a doctoral-level license as a Psychologist in the state of Florida.

Bonus if private practice experience and registered with CAQH, must be willing to be paneled with insurance companies. Compensation is percentage based on income received and paid out biweekly.

Genesis Counseling provides a steady stream of referrals. The candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our exciting, united and like-minded group of clinicians. Our office is well-respected in the community, and we are looking for therapists who are passionate about mental health. The candidate will be independent contractor status.

This position is a 1099 contract position. Psychologist must use Simple Practice and must be able to use technology for scheduling and notes.

Requirements

· Ability to performs Psychological Testing

· Willing to work afternoons and evenings

· Current State of Florida license as a PsyD or PhD

· Willing to work 20 hours per week or more

· Minimum 1-year post-independent licensure is a plus

· Paneled with insurance a plus

· Prior private practice experience is a plus

Job Responsibilities

· Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients

· Diagnose and treat mental health disorders

· Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances

· Complete Psychological Testing and Reports

· Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress

· Involve and advise family members when appropriate

· Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary

· Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress

· Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality

· Maintain proper licenses, certifications and follow professional guidelines, ethical standards

· Contribute to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed

· Collaborate with administrative staff and management to exceed best practices and grow our organization

About Us

Genesis Counseling was founded in 2015 by Jennifer Bishop, LMHC. We grew into a group practice in April of 2020 at our Boca location. In 2021, we opened our Coral Springs location and in July of 2023, we opened our Delray Beach location. We practice virtually throughout Florida. Genesis Counseling is one of the premier counseling centers in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

The Genesis Counseling team is friendly, helpful, and trustworthy. We specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, LGBTQIA issues, couples & marriage counseling, child & teen therapy, and trauma. We offer testing for ADHD, Autism, Gifted evaluations, learning disabilities, and psycho educational evaluations.

We offer in-person and online counseling. We are taking precautions for in-person sessions due to COVID-19.

We are in-network with the following insurance panels: Aetna, BCBS, Florida Blue, Humana, Cigna, Optum, United, UMR, Tricare.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $125.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
