Infinite Possibilities Counseling Service is an established contracted provider with the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services. We are seeking licensed mental/behavioral health clinicians and/or psychologists in North GA to provide psychological evaluations, behavioral health assessments, and/or counseling for clients referred by the GA Division of Family and Children Services. Services are generally provided in the client's home or within the community.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related human services field
- Licensure or certification as a Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker(e.g., LPC, LMFT) or pursuing such license
- Experience working with individuals with trauma
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to counseling
- Relevant experience in mental health counseling or a similar role
- Knowledge of working with individuals with behavioral health issues
- Familiarity with crisis management techniques and interventions
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and referral sources
- Understanding of applied behavior analysis principles
Responsibilities include but are not limted to:
- Provide counseling services to individuals with behavioral health issues, and mental health concerns
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual needs
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy, and applied behavior analysis
- Assist clients in managing crisis situations and provide support during difficult times
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and data collection
- Provide addiction counseling and support for individuals struggling with substance abuse
- Offer guidance and support to individuals with PTSD and other trauma-related conditions
