Assistant Professor, Counselor Education
JOB PURPOSE:
This position supports the College of Education’s Counseling MS programs (School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling), and its Ph.D. program in Counselor Education and Supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We expect all faculty at the University of Wyoming to be excellent teachers and be committed to innovative teaching approaches resulting in improved student learning. Faculty in the College typically teach five courses per academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in academic scholarship (including grant writing and conducting/publishing/presenting research in counselor education), along with service within the university and to the profession.
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This role involves critical support for campus activities and necessitates the successful candidate to be available for on-campus work.
