Full-Time Registrar/Counseling Secretary - Emery High SchoolResponsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and monitor accuracy of student records
- Use data to generate reports, documents and other materials
- Communicate information to stakeholders clearly both written and verbal
- Deal with stakeholders in a professional manner showing sensitivity and professionalism
- Assist School Counselors, teachers and staff with scheduling, scholarships, filing and monitoring student information
- Meet deadlines while handling frequent interruptions
- Process transcript requests and updates insuring accuracy
- Assist students with college applications
- Maintain confidentiality
- Perform other tasks as required
- Education. Minimum of graduation from HIgh School.
- Skill & Abilities. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, students and the public; ability to work independently and manage work assignments in a highly interpersonal contact environment; ability to deal effectively with stress caused by workload and time deadlines.
- Effective computer skills with experience in basic computer usage with documents, spreadsheets, etc.
- Willingness to learn and develp skills and receive training.
