As a Clinician in our Counseling Center, you will work with children, adults and families addressing emotional and mental health needs, providing case management and working within multi-disciplinary teams. Ideal candidates have experience providing therapy to youth and families using trauma informed modalities (or willing to learn). If you have strong documentation and clinical skills, you will be a great candidate.
Duties:
Working collaboratively with the Program Director and clinical team
Participation in team and agency meetings
Assessment and treatment plan development
Timely documentation of services per agency and contract requirements
Provision of individual, couples, group or family therapy
Case management including coordination and referral to services
Crisis management and appropriate consultation when needed
Communication with referring party and service as liaison for agency
Achievement of required productivity and billing requirements
Maintenance of client file per agency and contract standards
Maintenance of associate/license status per BBS guidelines
Required Skills:
Detail-orientated - the ability to understand written and spoken details and data; to review, audit, and utilize detailed information; ability to communicate clinical and programmatic details clearly.
Communication - strong, assertive communication skills and commitment to proactive conflict resolution.
Clinical practice - training in trauma informed care (or willing to learn); understanding of family system approaches to treatment
Position Requirements:
At least two years of experience in a mental health setting
Near completion of masters program or registered associate (ASW, AMFT, APCC)
Reliable vehicle with insurance
Ability to pass state and federal background check
