Edmonds Auto License & Service is a subagent for the Washington State Department of Licensing and we process a variety of transactions including vehicle and vessel licensing, disabled parking permits, vehicle and vessel permits and more. We are seeking a licensing title/counter clerk to join our team in Edmonds, WA. This candidate will be trained to become a Certified Vehicle Licensing Representative. This entry level position has a steep learning curve, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and is looking for career growth opportunities.
The candidate must be organized, have strong communication skills and be able to work well with a team.
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
Provide clear and accurate information regarding vehicle licensing for customer inquiries in person, by email or telephone.
Effective at ascertaining customer needs and assisting them with those needs.
Accurately process vehicle/vessel license transactions such as tab renewals, title transfers, trip permits and disabled parking privileges.
Collect all necessary fees from customers.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
Accurate cash/check/credit card handling.
Other duties as assigned.
