We are the exclusive dealer for Daktronics Scoreboards, Video Display and Audio System in New England (excluding VT). We have been in business for over 45 years specializing in sales, service and installation of scoreboard equipment. Our customer base ranges from little leagues, high schools, college/university and professional venues.

    Scoreboard Enterprises, Inc looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator - Class B CDL, Hositing License MA required, RI preferred but will work with the right candidate to get licensed accordingly, repair, upgrade, and maintain scoreboards, scoreboard structures, video display system, and audio system for our customers. Your duties will include traveling to customer sites all over New England (except VT), installing scoreboards, scoreboard structures, video displays, and audio systems, troubleshooting problems with existing equipment, testing connections, providing user instructions to customers, and cleaning up after the job is complete.

    To ensure success as an Installation Technician, you should have sound electrical and mechanical knowledge, be able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces for an extended period, have exceptional communication skills and a passion for customer service. Ultimately, a top-class Installation Technician provides expert installation services and dedicated support to all customers.

    Installation Technician Responsibilities:

    • Traveling to customer sites (mainly educational and recreational facilities).
    • Outdoor Installation - Excavating footings, erecting steel beams, installing scoreboards and signage or remove existing equipment – make modifications or repairs to existing site as needed and mounting new equipment – pick up debris from jobsite and transport back to our shop for disposal.
    • Indoor Installation – Loading trailers, bring equipment into facility, remove and dispose of existing equipment, install new equipment, train customer on control operation
    • Suggesting areas where equipment should be set up and where cords should be placed.
    • Troubleshooting problems with existing equipment.
    • Testing old and new installation connections.
    • Providing customers with verbal and written operating instructions for new equipment.
    • Maintaining equipment.
    • Cleaning up after the job is complete.
    • Recording and maintaining stock levels.
    • Maintaining the work vehicles.
    • Comfortable working on Job Sites and around Heavy Machinery (cranes, backhoes, excavators, lifts, etc.)

    Installation Technician Requirements:

    • Proven work experience
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to climb ladders.
    • Ability to crouch, kneel and work in confined areas for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift heavy objects.
    • Knowledge of modern electrical equipment.
    • Ability to solve problems and repair equipment on site.
    • OHSA 10 Certification – currently hold or will be required to obtain – SEI will assist
    • Hold a Class B CDL or willing to obtain – SEI will assist for the right candidate
    • Hold a 2A(excavator), 1B (crane operators) license – or willing to obtain – SEI will assist for the right candidate
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work with co-workers to overcome site challenges – i.e., tight access, working around and with other trades, creative thinking for installing equipment in a safe and efficient manner

    Pay will be commensurate with experience and existing licenses
