Creative Director provides leadership and direction for all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Designs and implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and goals. Being a Creative Director promotes excellence in design thinking and a creative strategy for services, products and programs. Interprets stakeholder requirements to produce effective creative concepts and designs. Additionally, Creative Director recruits and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Develops creative briefs and design concepts to meet the business objectives of the organization. Studies current trends and technologies to adopt the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Creative Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Creative Production Specialist

    Position Summary


    This position is directly responsible for contributing to the successful production and design of creative solutions.


    Primary Accountabilities


    • Accountable for independent and team projects. Demonstrates independent thinking and solid decision making skills. Uses good judgment when handling assignments, solving problems and addressing challenges.
    • Screens requests to determine necessary level of support and collaborates with requestor to gather information as needed.
    • Oversees multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met and workload is distributed efficiently and effectively.
    • Utilizes project management tools.
    • Reports to manager on teams’ production, activities, and efforts.
    • Serves as mid-level designer, producing a broad range of deliverables for printed and digital dissemination.
    • Manages projects with internal partners and inter-departmental teams to ensure quality execution of projects.
    • Recommend practices designed to streamline, improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
    • Promotes corporate brand standards.
    • Prepares artwork from start-to-finish for print production, digital display, etc.
    • Creates, modifies, and follows printing specifications for marketing projects.
    • Assures that client artwork is delivered to specification, on time and within budget.
    • Assists in the creation of mock-ups of artwork for client approval.
    • Checks proofs of artwork produced to assure that all files have been packaged properly and the job is ready to print.
    • Places artwork with publications.
    • Maintains advertising, pricing, photo, and production files.
    • Maintains print production logs, Quality Control documentation, and regulatory documentation.
    • Maintains a detailed understanding of print production capabilities
    • Maintains print and production equipment.
    • Is responsible for Quality Control output and tracking according to department standards.
    • Performs research concerning merchandise solutions and places orders upon approval.
    • Understands postal service requirements to ensure quality delivery of direct mail, notifications, and other items delivered to customers/clients.
    • Participates in team meetings and adherence to the companies core values and vision.
    • Stays current with internet and software technologies used for this position.
    • The role requires occasional travel for training and team meetings, and willingness to travel periodically, to locations within market as needed.
    • May require work in a Midland office to ensure collaboration and support of internal and external customers.
    • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Position Qualifications


    Education/Experience:


    • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communication, or Business; or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in Marketing and Design Production.
    • Experience with wide array of media including print, digital, and displays.
    • Extensive knowledge of design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and other Adobe CS4 programs.
    • Extensive experience with personal computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
