Creative Director - Web directs web-based creative work. Develops creative briefs and design concepts to meet the business objectives of the organization. Being a Creative Director - Web is responsible for establishing creative direction for the entire line of online services, products, and programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Creative Director - Web typically reports to Top Management. The Creative Director - Web manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Creative Director - Web typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Growing Confection Company is Building out a Creative team and needs a Creative Packaging Leader at the helm to make it happen. Oversee Branding Creative, Creative Strategy, Production and Product Strategy. Product lines span refined elegant presentation of packaging to playful licensee work for children. The best candidate has a the combined experience of working in-house and within agencies. Portfolio should consist of Food, Hospitality and/or Spirits Consumer Packaging branding. This role is Packaging Design based, but you will have a say in all other forms of marketing design. The idea is to bring in a Brand Steward, one who can build and manage a team of about 10 designers, and oversee product, and production.
Responsibilities
*Lead, mentor and build a Design team
*Present internally and externally to clients
*Work with sales to gather specific briefs, delegate work thru a Coordinator and oversee positioning to finish.
*Keep team on deadline and on budget.
*Motivate team to promote innovation, based on consumer insights
*Knowledgeable of printing techniques and materials

*Capable and comfortable with a fast paced process
*Adept at ascertaining appropriate trends and forecasting for use in design process
