Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. This is a remote role and is open to candidates in Eastern Australia. Applicants based in the Sydney area would have the option to work at our recently reopened CBD office.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Serving as the client's ultimate internal advocate.
Creating and maintaining client-facing delivery schedules.
Tracking tasks and deliverables for his or her accounts on a monthly basis.
Working with the production teams to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are created on-time and on-brief.
Serving as the gatekeeper for all production deliverables: Reviewing work to ensure it's on-brief and providing production with feedback and guidance whenever necessary.
Attending weekly, bi-weekly or monthly client check-ins.
Ensuring that content or strategy issues are escalated and resolved quickly and effectively.
Strong computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with our proprietary software as well as industry tools.
Exceptional product knowledge and deep understanding of our production processes.
The ability to work at a computer during standard working hours.
