Creative Manager leads and directs the design and production of visual and audio materials and media used for advertising, broadcast, and web communications. Oversees creation of art, photo, video, and layout design. Being a Creative Manager establishes and implements design and format standards and processes to produce consistent and high quality results. Selects any outside or contract vendors and approves and coordinates projects. Additionally, Creative Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
