Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. PURPOSE: The Creative Video Producer/Editor is responsible for production of videos for The Connection, main service, and various ministries throughout Calvary Church.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Think creatively and cultivate new ideas for videos.
· Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong sense of how to visually tell a compelling story.
· Produce videos for main services, The Connection, and various ministries (direct, light, shoot, edit, export) as instructed.
· Edit and Create Videos/Audio utilizing Creative Cloud applications.
· Troubleshoot issues with Apple computer and associated software.
· Provide video support to ministries and special events, as requested.
· Ensure deadlines are met.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
· Strong work ethic and servants heart.
· Proficient in cinematography and shot composition.
· Knowledgeable in professional video production equipment (including DSLR's, Mirrorless, Video Lighting, Audio, Lenses, Gimbals, and storage.)
· Proficient in Video Editing.
· Professional use of Adobe Creative Cloud software applications including Premiere, After Effects, Audition, InDesign, and Photoshop preferred.
· Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time.
· Strong communication skills with talent and crew.
· Ability to direct actors and talent on set.
