Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Creative Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Arlington, VA
Looking to make a big impact at a mission-driven company? As the Creative Manager, you’ll be an integral part of managing branding and design at Fluence. From ESG reports to tradeshow booths, you’ll bring creativity and innovative ideas as you drive projects to timely completion. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Digital Marketing, you’ll champion the brand by collaborating with our freelancers to deliver high-quality design and educate employees on how to present Fluence. This is an opportunity to contribute to a wide range of high-impact, high-visibility projects within the organization that span customer, investor and employee audiences. Our ideal candidate has an eye for excellent design and values getting the details right. While this role is supported by a team of designers, you’ll jump in on the fun by directly designing content, including social assets, tradeshow booth concepts, and slides.
Key Responsibilities
•Oversee the development and execution of visually stunning creative concepts, campaigns, and projects that elevate our brand, drive engagement, and boost conversions.
•Lead creative direction and execution for a variety of content, including collateral, social assets, corporate publications, booth designs, and corporate and product videos.
•Design quick-turnaround assets, like social images, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality creative work.
•Develop photography and videography in collaboration with product marketing and regional marketing.
•Ensure adherence to brand guidelines across our internal and external presence to maintain a cohesive and consistent visual identity.
•Educate employees about our brand by offering training and creating resources.
•Manage our branded asset libraries and establish management processes to maintain them.
•Staying up to date on the latest industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to maintain a cutting-edge approach to design.
