Window Treatment Designer and Project Manager of luxury window treatments

THE POSITION: Window Treatment Designer and Project Manager
Create beautiful, functional window treatment design solutions for our clients.
Enjoy predictable set schedule of daytime hours Monday through Friday with one Saturday a month
Manage your list of projects from design to order processing to following up on the final installation.
Build your sales pipeline through referrals and networking
Training on Hunter Douglas, Graber, and more provided.
Work in our showroom and attend customers’ homes and businesses for consultations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn about window treatment styles and brands we carry, and speak confidently to customers about what the best choices are for their window treatment project.
- Stay on top of product/technology updates and training for window treatments and motorization/automated treatments we offer.
- Build rapport with your clients, supply top-notch service, and seek referrals.
- Write up sales contracts for their window treatment projects and close the deal!
- Measure accurately down to the 1/8” using measuring tapes and/or laser measuring tools.
- Process orders using our ordering and filing system in a timely manner.
- Manage customer projects and prospects.
- Coordinate showroom coverage with your coworkers. Attends periodic installations towards the end to thank installer and customer, take photos of the finished project, and share with the company for marketing purposes.
- Dress business casual and present yourself in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must have reliable transportation.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong sales techniques with strong desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Adobe Pro.
- Knowledge of home automation would be highly beneficial
- Technologically savvy, able to learn new skills and adapt to change as needed.
- Self-motivated, able to work alone and with others.
- Experienced with in home sales preferred. Comfortable going into customers’ homes. Able to climb stairs and carry sample books weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Basic project management and business development skills
- Interest in the home décor and design industry
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Timely and consistent follow up on customers throughout the order process

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
