- Department/Unit: Medical Staff Credentialing Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $17.97 - $28.76 Credentialing Specialists within Albany Med Health System work within the system affiliates as well as the private medical staff that wish to hold privileges here at AMC. This is a busy office that helps onboard the best medical staff in the area to the largest Hospital system in area. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and have experience with credentialing and onboarding providers to a busy medical practice. The office works on license verifications, sanction screenings, education and identity proofing for candidates. The credentialing specialist will be responsible for a caseload of applications for new and reappointment packets in an ongoing basis and will work within a team and independently. Dedication to timelines and adherence to protocols and policies is extremely important. Previous Medical Office work is required , credentialing experience a plus.
