    We are seeking a dynamic Consumer Lending Operations Manager to drive lending operations across multiple channels. In this position you will oversee indirect and direct lending functions, including underwriting, processing, and funding, coach and develop your team, as well as facilitate training for new team members.     The position responsibilities are:

    1. Manage the indirect lending channel which includes the underwriting, funding and cross-selling of our indirect loans.
    2. Manage the underwriting team to ensure proper coverage, proper branch/dealer service, proper profitability and delinquency ratios.
    3. Manage the funding team to ensure excellent service and proper coverage for our branch direct lending.
    4. Make every effort to provide excellent service to our members through cross-selling.
    5. Interview and take applications for loans; prepare loan applications for approval and securing necessary credit ratings on all loan applications.
    6. Assist with approval processing and funding of employee loans, maintaining confidentiality of the information collected.
    7. Work with our indirect dealer representative to maximize our indirect volume and profitability.
    8. Provide information concerning credit unio services or policies, including: eligibilty for membership, how to apply for membership, type of accounts available, loan policies, interest rates for loans, locations of the office(s), office hours, and telephone services.
    9. Work with our funding team to ensure qualified referral and cross-sell thresholds are exceeded.
    10. Take lead in training new employees in the LPC department - both underwriters and processors.
    11. Cross train new branch lending employees and offer advice on applications, processing and underwriting.
    12. Acheive goals set by ACU management for loan volume, cross selling (Gap/Warranty/Credit Cards/Payment Protection) and delinquency and compliance reviews.
    13. Responsible for semi-annual review of all LPC underwriters and processors.
    14. Assist the loan processors as needed to help fund thebranch generated ACU consumer loans. Must be proficient with ACU loan funding policy and guidelines.
    15. Work with business development to generate, maintain and track dealer relations for loan business.
    16. Serve as a subject matter expert for the ACU lending process. Assist branch employees with questions or issues.

    Qualifications


    Education/ Certifications/ Licenses

    A college degree.

    Experience

    Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
