Credit Analysis Manager develops and implements procedures for analyzing the creditworthiness of prospective and current customers. Manages a group of credit analysts and approves requests for credit extensions based on analyst recommendations. Being a Credit Analysis Manager may personally handle larger/more complex accounts. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Credit Analysis Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Credit Analysis Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Credit Analysis Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Nebraska Machinery Company CAT is seeking a Credit Manager who is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Researches discrepancies and debit memos to accurately process, issue and post credits and debits to customer accounts as necessary.
    • Maintains all records and files and backup documentation related to accounts receivable.
    • Reviews an aging report on a weekly basis.
    • Initiates, tracks and maintains all records/files associated with collection activities for each account to include negotiated payment schedules, telephone call documentation and collection letters.
    • Manage relations with collection agencies, credit reporting agencies, credit insurance providers, and the sales department
    • Insures company adherence to corporate credit policies and procedures for consistent handling of collection matters to maintain good customer relations.
    • Maintains accurate customer information in database according to company procedures.
    • Researches and responds to all accounts receivable inquiries in a prompt manner.
    • Monitor periodic credit reviews, deductions being taken by customers and credit granting and updating process
    • Manage the application of late fees and support corporate financing program
