Credit and Collections Manager develops and administers credit and collection programs. Oversees investigation of credit risk in customers and suppliers and advises on course of action for credit applications. Being a Credit and Collections Manager designs and implements processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables. Monitors and negotiates the collection of overdue accounts. Additionally, Credit and Collections Manager monitors credit and collection processes and operations; makes recommendations on opportunities for improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Credit and Collections Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Credit and Collections Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position: Branch Manager

    Status: Full-time, Exempt

    Reports to: Vice President, Operations


    As a Branch Manager,
    you will play a pivotal role in leading our branch operations, fostering community relationships, and contributing to the growth of our small business lending portfolio. Journeys start here.

    Your purpose:

    • Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficient and member-focused service delivery in accordance with established policies and procedures.
    • Establish Credit Union deposit and loan relationships with members and potential members.
    • Create relationships with local businesses, assessing their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Coach and guide the branch team, promoting a collaborative environment where staff feel comfortable sharing opinions and providing regular feedback.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings to clearly communicate performance expectations and hold staff accountable for adherence to service standards to achieve individual and team member goals.
    • Maintain a level of community involvement to ensure a positive presence and reputation for the credit union.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance member satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Embrace the organization’s commitment to excellence by maintaining a strong knowledge of products and services to effectively refer solutions.


    We are looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience in management within the financial industry.
    • Knowledge of commercial and/or consumer lending practices (preferred).
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Demonstrated community engagement and networking skills.
    • Must be able to handle member and employee matters in a professional, tactful and confidential manner.
    • Must project a positive sales attitude and proactively evaluate and present credit union products and services that best meet a member or potential member’s financial needs.
    • Responsible for complying with the Credit Union and regulatory policies and procedures.

    The expected pay range for this position is $58,460 – $70,000. The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law. This salary range only reflects base wages and does not include benefits or other types of compensation. Salary bands are purposefully wide ranging to encompass the different factors considered in determining where a candidate falls in the range, including but not limited to, seniority, performance, experience, education, and any other legitimate, non-discriminatory factor permitted by law.
