Education / Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or Finance required;
- Master's degree, preferred;
- 10 years' experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.

Credit and Collections Manager

Key Job Elements:
Minimum duties and responsibilities:
- Manage customer master data for customers including performing credit reviews and determining appropriate credit limits & terms of sale for new and existing customers;
- Oversee activities and processes for collecting receivables via open terms and letters of credit;
- Assist in establishing and managing credit, accounts receivable and invoicing policies;
- Communicate / report on receivables and customer collection issues to Senior Management across the corporation;
- Manage and oversee processes related to obtaining bids, performance and warranty bonds for the organization;
- Advise international locations on credit policies and processes;
- Advise locations on bond and letter of credit requirements and administration;
- Direct responsibility for managing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), past due receivables, and bad debt reserves/write offs;
- Assist in the tracking of KPIs and other team performance indicators;
- Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements;
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.
Advanced duties and responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with regional and international banks and credit export agencies;
- Participate in and/or lead special projects as assigned;
Qualifications and Experience:
- ERP experience, in particular SAP and LN;
- Demonstrated analytical skills and knowledge of US GAAP;
- Detail oriented, sense of urgency and follow-through;
- Strong leadership, written and oral communication, and work effectively in varying environments;
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Essential and Physical Activities Functions:
- Strength – Position typically involves work in a standard office environment. Occasional standing and walking. Heavy lifting is rare but may be required;
- Motion – Position regularly requires standard repetitive motions and hand/eye coordination associated with office communications. May require bending, lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. in cases where safety investigations require them;
- Vision/Hearing Requirements – Constant verbal communications, including both talking and hearing;
- Work Environment - Work in temperature-controlled environment in most situations. Must be capable of wearing PPE (safety glasses, hardhats, metatarsal boots, earplugs, gloves, etc.) no jewelry (on shop floor);
- Emotional Demands – Work with a team under pressure. Must have good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Safety – Position is not a safety sensitive but will require use of appropriate PPE when in plant and production environments.
