It is a fun, caring environment, where what you do matters. Due to our growth, we are searching for a Collections Manager to join our amazing team.
    This role will oversee the daily operations of the credit union’s collection department. Responsible for minimizing current delinquency by analyzing and monitoring collection accounts to reduce losses. Ensures established policies, procedures, and legal requirements are followed. Trains, directs, and oversees collectors.

    What you’ll do:
    • Establish department productivity and quality standards for collectors.
    • Measure collection activities, workflows, and procedures to maximize efficiency and quality.
    • Ensure that timely collection efforts are made.
    • Develop and conduct department training for new hires.
    • Provide assistance with complex and sensitive collection activities.
    • Conduct monthly one on one’s to discuss performance.
    • Continually looks for efficiencies with processes to ensure the staff’s best use of time and that members are efficiently served.
    • Conduct performance appraisals as required.
    Qualifications/Experience Required:
    • College degree in business, finance, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
    • At least five years of progressive collection experience
    • Thorough knowledge of collections.
    • Good verbal public relations skills.
    • Understanding of real estate collection and foreclosure laws.
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
