About The Team

FIS Financial Crimes and Global Fraud Investigations Team provide fraud industry guidance to stakeholders on operations under the governance of Banking and Merchant Solutions; mitigating fraud losses for our customers and our organization.

What You Will Be Doing

FIS Financial Crimes and Global Fraud Investigations Team is in charge of collaborative efforts cross-channel in:

• Review individual accounts via system notification to determine if fraudulent activity is present via several different fraud schemes.

• If unauthorized activity is identified, follow documented process for escalation and established internal/external contact direction.

• Announce mitigation strategies, when applicable, to Leadership for assessment and implementation.

• Document proper processes, investigation documentation, and various needs (such as technology tickets for mitigation strategies) utilizing available tools.

• Bring awareness to business leaders regarding impactful fraud trends

• Serve as primary contact for reviewing activity on customers' accounts

• Block accounts to mitigate further fraudulent activity

• Decrease fraud losses

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Fraud Scheme/Industry Knowledge
