Job Summary:
The Operations Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of duties in the bank support area. They will handle: payments, disputes, adjustments, return items, check processing, customer service and more. This position requires reasoning through complex problems and the ability to effectively communicate a resolution with internal staff and customers. Must be capable of working independently and have good decision making ability.
Specific Job Functions:
1. Maintain and balance ATS payments.
2. Review and process Bankruptcy paperwork and/or payments received, child support payments, garnishments, and court orders for research or anything needed.
3. IRA coordinator: monthly and yearly reporting, answer questions from customers and/or frontline staff, review paperwork, mail out end of year statements, and more.
4. Backup Cash Management Analyst duties.
5. Process load errors and returns, correct ACH items and return via Fedline.
6. Process both domestic and international wires.
7. Research and resolve ACH disputes and ATM/Debit card disputes.
8. Reloadable/Gift Card Program.
9. Bad check processing.
10. Process Federal Reserve Bank notifications.
11. Maintains high ethical standards while performing all duties in accordance with the Bank’s internal policies and procedures and within prescribed regulatory and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least a 2 year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or 2 years of experience in financial services field is preferred.
