Checks credit applications and grants approval within established guidelines for organizations or individuals. Being a Credit Clerk communicates with the customers and other departments to solve the credit problems. May negotiate terms of payment to assist with collection of overdue balances. Additionally, Credit Clerk requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Collections Clerk position is responsible for moving, assigning, and monitoring third party accounts, while supporting Credit Counselors, Management and Credit Counseling team members in the fulfillment of their duties, ensuring that they are leading by example and providing supporting guidance when queried by team members.
