DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interview patients and family members for all uninsured programs.
• Prepares all preliminary applications to be submitted on behalf of the patients. Submits and records all applications.
• Enters all information In the system accurately and timely for billing and collection purposes.
• Provide help in completion of full applications for all uninsured programs.
• Follow up periodically with Social Service and Family Care Office to insure completed applications.
• Back up to collectors, answers calls, makes credit arrangements, sends out correspondence when necessary.
• Performs other clerical duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Knowledge of computers is required.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Good communication skill on all levels of the organization and with the public.
• Must maintain confidentiality.
