Our people make the difference, and we truly believe you are our greatest asset.Job DescriptionThe Director of Credit Card Product is accountable for setting strategy for, directing, and managing all aspects of Ent's credit card program - owning the performance and profitability of all credit card products. The Director leverages technology, product design, and marketing communications to shape and deliver an industry-leading credit card program and experience for our members. The Director is also responsible for setting the vision, establishing goals, and delivering a top-of-wallet value proposition with best-in-class features and capabilities. The role is inherently cross-functional and works closely with IT Enablements, Digital Product Development, Marketing, Finance, Lending, Risk, and Compliance to continually build on and improve Ent's credit card products. The Director is also responsible to hire, coach, scale and manage a team of product managers and analysts to fulfill the credit union's mission in delivering products that improve Ent's members' financial quality of life. Essential FunctionsStrategic Direction and Oversight of Credit Card Operations: Own and define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for credit card member experience. Create and evangelize a product vision and own a multi-year product roadmap, including prioritizing and driving backlogs for launch with the cross-functional Credit Cards team (e. g. , product, marketing, design, IT enablements, compliance, credit, risk, finance, and operations) and third-party vendors. Communicate the vision, strategy, execution plan and customer impact/learnings to all stakeholders including the highest levels of leadership at Ent Credit Union. Collaborate closely with the full cross-functional team to execute on the strategic vision. Lead teams through successful implementation of credit union initiatives/changes as related to the credit card program. Research, recommend, and implement ways to maximize profitability of credit card portfolio.Credit Card Department Management and Optimization: Oversight and control of daily operations and performance. Oversight of daily settlement with processor and managing GL reconciliations. Vendor support and management, to include consistent status meetings and review of performance. Direct the development and implementation of effective department structure, policies, and procedures - including regulatory compliance, audit management, and security adherence. Budget preparation, monthly expenses, and evaluation of approved expenses and budget variance reporting.Team Leadership & Goal Alignment: Mentor, coach, and advance product management team. Provide leadership in accordance with the credit union's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include the interviewing and hiring process, training of staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; assisting in setting career development and performance goals; motivating, coaching, and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and conducting regular meetings with subordinates. Align with corporate strategic plans to improve member experience through research, development, and implementation of new and improved technologies to products and services.Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.QualificationsMinimum Formal Qualifications for this Position:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.8 years' of credit card product management experience to include:4 years of management or supervisory experience.Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2 years of accounting experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.
