SUMMARY: Provides a variety of administrative and functions of credit. Under Credit Manager
supervision, performs a variety of detailed accounting duty assignments. Accuracy of payment application
and daily cash functions. Attention to detail required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES include continuous ongoing projects in development of the
department and cross training as well as:
• Prepare cash deposits -fill out cash control sheets
• Process checks, credit card deposits, and other incoming deposits (including ACH & Wires)
• Prepare daily reconciliation reports for cash and credit cards
• Maintain credit card file, tax exemption certificate updates to accounts
• Manage/Collect all Cash sales and COD accounts with prompt reconciliation
• Close out counter sales cash boxes daily
• Daily Post Office and weekly bank deposit runs
• Scan check stubs and bank receipts including any and all other related documents to imaging
files, filing and boxing files, shredding
Help answer incoming calls, handle customer account calls and research when needed, also cover for
the receptionist periodically.
Other qualifications: to perform this job successfully and confidentially. Individual must be on time, have
excellent attendance, be able to perform each essential duty, be knowledgeable, skillful, and have
excellent time management skills-organizing and prioritizing, excellent note taking. Notary helpful.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one year of
related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: English -Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence,
and memos.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform mathematical functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Ability to work under pressure, meet urgent deadlines or rush situations. Work
under stressful situations, busy/hectic, as well as, distractions such as telephone calls, conversation,
noise and sound disturbances.
