    Job Title: Credit Manager

    Location: Lincoln, NE

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage all company-wide collection activities including the release of orders on credit hold, negotiating with past due accounts, establishing payment plans when needed, and making decisions on referring accounts to collection agencies and/or writing off accounts receivable in accordance with company practices
    • Develop, implement and manage the collections process in communication with the billing department, ensuring consistent application across all accounts.
    • Manage the credit granting process which includes running credit reports, reference checks, requesting personal guarantees, and establishing credit limits to minimize the company's risk
    • Set up of new customers and maintenance of existing customers on a regular basis
    • Daily phone calls and emails to customers regarding disputed invoices or other discrepancies
    • Maintain detailed records of communications with customer using the company's ERP system
    • Verify and manage the lien waiver process including payment and filing notices when applicable
    • Provide ad-hoc reporting to Leadership on a regular basis regarding status of accounts
    • Active participation in monthly Credit Association meetings to identify industry trends
    • Develop expert knowledge on the online bill pay portal and drive customer adoption
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned

    Education and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
    • Experience with credit and account collection strongly preferred
    • Five years of accounting experience preferred

    Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday
