CREDIT RISK MANAGER jobs in Myrtle Beach, SC

Santee Cooper Credit Union is seeking candidates for our Branch Manager I position at our Myrtle Beach Branch. Position requires a four-year college degree from an accredited college or university or related work experience. Three to five years of similar or related experience is preferred. The Branch Manager I must possess well developed interpersonal, communication, leadership, and organizational skills, have a high level of accuracy, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while giving attention to details.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Branch Manager I is responsible for guiding, managing and growing the Myrtle Beach Branch office as well as providing quality service to members in account transactions, loan applications, and new accounts. Must solve problems within established policies and guidelines.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage branch with asset size up to $25 million.

• Directly supervise full-time and part-time branch employees.

• Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations.

• Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch. Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.

• Monitor branch activity and performance, including but not limited to: number of transactions, volume, teller errors, loan volume, teller referrals, loan product sales, credit life and disability insurance, new accounts, etc.

• Monitor key products and sales within branch to ensure profitable and sound business practices and a high quality of service for members.

• Conduct loan interviews. Process, approve and close loans within approval limits.

• Assist staff or members in solving complex account problems.

• Create and maintain a cross-selling environment within the branch. Train employees to maximize opportunities to sell products.

• Control delinquency; Collect delinquent loan accounts.

• Manage the security and safety of the branch. Analyze and monitor security and safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis. Ensure the staff receives on-going training on security and robbery procedures.

• Occasional travel is required.

• Perform other duties as requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
