Manages the building of financial models that predict credit risk exposure to the organization. Being a CREDIT RISK MANAGER oversees the preparation of performance reports for management. May require a master's degree. Additionally, CREDIT RISK MANAGER typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The CREDIT RISK MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Branch Manager
The Branch Manager is responsible for the management, coordination and integration of branch functions to provide quality service to members, as well as originating, processing, underwriting and approving loans within level of lending authority with an emphasis on cross-selling based on member needs.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, solution-oriented, positive thinker with extensive consumer and mortgage lending experience (more than three years) in a credit union or related financial institution and a thorough understanding of secondary market lending standards and guidelines, open-end and close-end consumer lending, secured and unsecured requirements, credit life and disability insurance, vehicle title and UCC requirements, credit cards, student loans and lines of credit. Complete knowledge and understanding of consumer and mortgage lending regulations including Reg Z (Truth in Lending), RESPA, and ECOA are required, as are excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency with computers, online programs and lending software.
Supervisory and leadership skills and experience that support collaboration, employee empowerment and engagement, and development and growth are required. A willingness to learn from others, open-mindedness and a curious approach is critically important in our organization.
